Swindon Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is pleased to announce the formal contract award for adult community health services to Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Delivery of the new contract for adult community health services in Swindon and Shrivenham will commence on 18 February 2017 and will run for a period of up to 5 years.

Public and Patient Involvement

To support this procurement, we have recruited four Public and Patient Representatives to be involved in the procurement of community health services.

The four Public and Patient representatives will be the voice of the community and will support the programme by:

  • Reading bids from the providers of services.
  • Attending meetings to evaluate these bids
  • Giving their views about which provider(s) should deliver the services
  • Helping to develop ways to check the successful provider is providing the quality and standard of service we expect.
