Dying Matters Awareness Week takes place between the 8 and 14 May 2017 and this year the focus of the campaign is on What Can You Do?

The Prospect Hospice is hosing some events which you are welcome to get involved in:

Wednesday 10 May 2017 - 11 am to 12.30 pm - Death Cafe, run with the Swindon Carers Centre at their offices, Sandford Street, Swindon, SN1 1HE.

Thursday 11 May 2017 - 2 pm to 4 pm - Join the Prospect at the Heart of the Hospice to learn more about the hospice and what they do, as well as having a cuppa and a slice of cake. 

Thursday 11 May 2017 - 5 pm to 7 pm - Death Cafe at the Prospect Hospice, Moormead Road, Wroughton in their Heart of the Hospice Cafe.  

Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has also been getting involved and on Tuesday 9 and Wednesday 10 May 2017, the Trust's End of Life Team, which is made up of staff from both the Trust and Hospice, will be on hand in the Atrium at Great Western Hospital, to talk to patients and visitors.
