New data protection laws came into effect at the end of May. 

Staff at a Swindon GP surgery are celebrating after healthcare inspectors awarded them a near-perfect score across the board.

Many pharmacies across Swindon and Shrivenham will be closed, or will open later and close earlier than usual, on Monday 28 May because of the late spring bank holiday. 

People with an interest in local healthcare are invited to come along to the next meeting of Swindon Clinical Commissioning Group’s Governing Body.

The Annual General Meeting of NHS Swindon Clinical Commissioning Group will take place on Thursday 19 July. 

Two Swindon surgeries, Abbey Meads Medical Practice and Eldene Surgery, have received improved ratings from the Care Quality Commission, with each practice now rated as good for the care given to patients.

More than 30,000 adults across Swindon are urged to look at the amount of sugar in their diet and think about the impact it could be having on their health, ahead of Diabetes Prevention Week.
