Involving patients, members of the public, carers and patient representative groups is important for ensuring the CCG is commissioning services that not only meet the needs of local people but also provide taxpayers with the best possible value for money.

Local people can get involved in a number of ways:

  • Contacting the CCG directly
  • Becoming a member of the Patient and Public Engagement Forum
  • Signing up to receive copies of News-Bites, the CCG's public newsletter
  • Joining the Patient Participation Group at a local GP surgery
