People in need of medical advice can now get the help they need by using the new NHS 111 online service. 

People in Swindon, Bath and North East Somerset and other parts of Wiltshire who are suffering from minor illnesses such as sore throats, coughs, colds and tummy troubles are being advised to seek help from their local pharmacist rather than booking an appointment with their GP or visiting the Emergency Department.

Swindon Clinical Commissioning Group is working with colleagues at Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and South Western Ambulance Service to help older people across the town move between care homes and hospital – and vice versa – with minimal delay and without added stress or anxiety.
